Church Planting

The Association of Vineyard Churches is a church planting movement with a goal to plant thousands of churches throughout North America. River Heights Vineyard Church is part of that mission. It is our prayer that we will plant many churches throughout the Midwest in the next two decades. We have had the privilege of sending out the following people:

~ Michael and Brenda Gatlin who are currently pastoring the Duluth Vineyard

~ Bryan and Janice Ornquist who are currently pastoring Lakes Area Vineyard in Detroit Lakes

~ In 2002 Scott and Kathy, Zach and Shanadiah Saari were sent to Mazatlán, México to work with Vineyard church planting in Mazatlán. They served with the La Vina Church in Mazatlán for two years.

~ In 2002 Kenton and Donna Wilson sent to Superior, Wisconsin to plant the Freshwater Vineyard.

~ In August 2003 a team led by Rick and Sue Yonker was sent to plant Grace Community Vineyard Church in White Bear Lake, Minnesota.

~ In January 2005 a team led by Paul and Deb Freedland were sent out to plant Vineyard Community in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
