Local OutreachEvangelismThe Vineyard employs many different strategies for reaching people with the good news of Christ’s life, death, and resurrection. We firmly believe in the Apostle Paul’s mandate to use all possible means to save some (1 Corinthians 9:22). Friendship evangelismThe vast majority of people come to know Jesus through a credible friend or family member. This far outstrips TV, Radio and mass evangelism combined. We provide training in friendship evangelism and apologetics to assist you to share your faith more effectively. SeekSeek is for curious people asking real questions about faith, life and God. Each evening will include dinner, a short talk or presentation, and conversations in small groups about the relevance Jesus has for our lives today. Topics include: How Can My Prayers Have Power, How Can I Get the Best Stuff from the Bible, Can I Expect God to Guide Me, How Can I Experience the Holy Spirit, What About Evil, Does God Do Miracles Today? Seek is for kids, too. Invite friends to come along who are curious about faith. Seek is a 10-week course offered two times a year at River Heights. Servant EvangelismWe like to look for opportunities to do servant evangelism, simple acts of
service and kindness to friends, neighbors, and people in our communities to
show them the love of Jesus in a practical way. |
