Women of Faith: Esther (Jeff Conner)

Women of Faith: Mary, Mother of Jesus (Justin Law)
On Sunday, July 4th, one of our Pastors, Justin Law, kicked off our new sermon series, "Women of Faith". Through this series, we will learn more about women from the Bible and what their faith and actions can teach us about God and what God would want us to learn about ourselves. Justin started this series by looking at Mary, the mother of Jesus, and how her saying yes can inspire us to say yes to God and how God wants to fill our lives with plans that are good, pleasing, and perfect.

We continued our mini-series called “Community Creators” on Sunday by talking about forgiveness. Our Founding Pastor, Jon Marsden, talked about how we can create healthy communities by receiving forgiveness and forgiving others. Jon shared Biblical examples and instruction on forgiveness and was able to go deeper into how we can grow in forgiveness.

Easter Sunday - April 4, 2021
It's Friday, but Sunday is coming! On Easter Sunday, one of our Pastors, Peter Benedict, shared the hope and joy that came from the resurrection of Jesus Christ. He shared how we too are in a time of trials and hardships, like Jesus' disciples were over 2,000 years ago, but we know that through Jesus, Sunday is coming. Something new is coming. Hope is coming.

Creators, Not Consumers: Changing the World (Peter Benedict)
How is God calling us to change the world? One of our Pastors, Peter Benedict, shared the words and encouragements from Jeremiah 29:4-7 with us on Sunday. Through this passage, we see how God sees us and we are encouraged that God is still speaking to us and inviting all of us to a better life. As we live out of these things, we find we can pray for peace and prosperity for others and work toward changing the world for the better.
