The women's retreat bake sale and silent auction is a week from this coming Sunday - August 14 - and we can't wait to see what goodies we'll be sinking our teeth into! We'll put bidding sheets in front of some of the larger baked items, like Gay's pecan pies and baker Becca Brimmer's special desserts. In the period between 1st and 2nd services, you'll have the chance to bid on these lovelies, and see if you get to take one home. For you 2nd service regulars, you'll have to come early that Sunday, because at the start of 2nd service, we'll be pulling up those bidding sheets and the person with the highest bid will go home with some yumminess!! It's all in good fun to help us raise scholarship funds for the women's retreat!

• Get those creative juices flowing and BAKE, COOK, ASSEMBLE or CREATE something delicious to DONATE*, and/or,

• STOP BY OUR TABLE on Sunday, August 1st, and BUY some delicious baked goods, and/or,

• PUT IN A BID on the items in the Silent Auction between 1st and 2nd services!

*Here's what to donate: baked items, jams, jellies, salsas, etc. that are packaged (in a container that does not need to be returned to you) and ready to sell. 
No unpackaged items containing peanuts (some at RHV have severe peanut allergies). Gluten-free and other allergy-friendly items appreciated as well!
