Serve
Jesus Came Not to Be Served, But to Serve
The Bible and the story of Jesus point us to the calling and blessings found in service to one another. One of the most important ways we can be the church Christ loves is to give our lives to one another in loving service.
We ask anyone who is part of our church family to serve with us. We have a place for you to serve too! God has blessed you with gifts that will make us better because you use them in ministry among us, and he has blessed others in our community to serve you. Our weekend teams serve once every four weeks.
Check out the ways you can serve, and sign up today.

Youth
At the River Heights Youth Group, we hang out with youth grades 6 - 12 as they learn and practice the church’s purpose of loving God, loving others, and changing the world. We are always looking for people who love to play games, lead small groups, and share what Christ has done in their lives. You don't have to be perfect, but if you have a heart for Christ and his young followers, you could be a perfect fit for our team.
Responsibilities:
Attend youth group from 7p - 8:30p on Wednesday evenings. Most leaders arrive 6:45p to set up and check in with youth if they didn't arrive earlier to eat at Loaves and Fishes.
Worship, play games, eat a snack, and talk with middle schoolers (6-8th graders) or high schoolers (9-12th graders).
Be authentic. You don't have to be perfect; being yourself is preferred.
Attend leader meeting from 8:30p - 9:00p to pray for our youth, discuss future plans, be in community with each other as leaders, and celebrate wins!
