As we begin our Advent series (and begin preaching through the Lectionary (Pete explains this in his message)), we start with the end in mind. One of our Pastors, Peter Benedict, read from Luke 21:25-36, a passage from the end of Jesus’ time on earth and a passage about the future. As we read through this passage, we see that God is still in charge and Jesus is still on the throne of God.
