Fourth Sunday after Pentecost (Jeff Conner)
As we continue our Lectionary Sermon Series, one of our Pastors, Jeff Conner, read through Galatians 6:7-16. In this passage, we can see how we are transformed from the inside out when we follow Jesus. We are called to think more of others and the Cross of Christ as we follow Jesus with our whole lives.

Third Sunday after Pentecost (Peter Benedict)
As we continue our Lectionary Sermon Series, one of our Pastors, Peter Benedict, read through one of our Psalms for the week, Psalm 16. In this Psalm, we can see how God is our refuge and place of safety, how we are encouraged to follow wise people, and how gratefulness can help us through our good and hard times.

Second Sunday after Pentecost (Peter Benedict)
One of our readings from our Lectionary reading plan was from Psalm 22. One of our Pastors, Peter Benedict, walked us through this Psalm and showed us the passion and honesty that can be found in the midst of our doubts and joys of life and faith. This Psalm can also show us how we can recognize God in our lives, even when we feel like He is far away.

First Sunday of Pentecost (Peter Benedict)
We continued to learn more about the Holy Spirit on Sunday as we entered into the First Sunday of Pentecost. One of our Pastors, Peter Benedict, shared how the Holy Spirit is even better than the physical presence of Jesus and shared his own recent experience in trusting in the Spirit.

Day of Pentecost (Jon Marsden)
On the day of Pentecost, we remember the promise of Jesus to provide an Advocate and a Helper after his ascension into heaven. That Advocate and Helper came in the form of the Holy Spirit. On Sunday, one of our Founding Pastors, shared with us the events of Pentecost and how the Holy Spirit has come to save our lives.

Psalm 2 (Jeff Conner)
At some point in our lives, we will all experience some kind of turmoil. The good news of Psalm 2 is that God can turn that turmoil into a blessing. One of our Pastors, Jeff Conner, read from Psalm 2 to show us how we can get through turmoil and see the blessing of God on the other side.

Psalm 19 (Paul Mandell)
As we continued our sermon series on the book of Psalms, one of our Lay Pastors, Paul Mandell, showed us the beauty of God's creation found in Psalm 19. Through Psalms like this, we can find that reflecting on the beauty of God's creation and what God has done for us can help us get through hard times.

Psalm 106 (Peter Benedict)
How can we cope with the challenges in our lives? One of our Pastors, Peter Benedict, showed us how praising God, asking God for help, and remembering what God has done for us can help us in our trials by reading through Psalm 106. Through this Psalm, we can also see how God rescues us, hears our cries, shows mercy to us, and loves us.

Psalm 1 (John Marsden)
As we continued our sermon series on the book of Psalms, one of our Founding Pastors, Jon Marsden, shared how we can find wisdom in the Psalms by reading through Psalm 1. In this Psalm, we can find the blessing that comes from following and delighting in God's wisdom and instruction.

Psalm 46 (Barbara Pelletier)
How can we build our trust in God? One of our Lay Pastors, Barbara Pelletier, read from Psalm 46 which shows us how God can be trusted. This Psalm was written during a time when Israel was under siege and reminds us and encourages us that God is still with us, still fights for us, and can still be trusted in the battles of our lives.

Psalm 40 (Peter Benedict)
As our preaching team met together, there was a desire to do a sermon series that would help us make it through the challenges of life. The Psalms are a great place to look to do just that. For the next six weeks, we will be hearing messages from the book of Psalms to see what God has for us as we face challenges and navigate through them. One of our Pastors, Peter Benedict, started this series by looking at Psalm 40. We saw how this Psalm is a prayer of testimony, praise, and cry for help and how we can be encouraged in our troubles through this Psalm.
